I absolutely love her editing style—it’s natural, vibrant, and really brings the emotion of the moment to life. She took it upon herself to photograph my daughter’s 4th birthday celebration, which happened around the 4th of July, and somehow managed to perfectly capture the joy and laughter of all the cousins playing together. She also has done that through other family events and get togethers. I will forever cherish the photos of our family and our tradition of tamale making.
What really blew me away was when she drove all the way from St. Louis to Kansas City just to be there for our gender reveal. We held it at an ice cream shop, and Emma documented the exact moment our daughters brought out the pink ice cream cones to reveal we were having a girl. The photos she captured from that day are absolutely priceless. I get so many compliments on them, and every time I look at them, I’m reminded of just how special that moment was.
Emma is not just a photographer—she’s a storyteller with a camera, and I can’t wait to work with her again, even if she lives four hours away. She’s 100% worth it!
